Kimora Lee Simmons Baby Phat Fabulosity

Awww aww, this is unbearable... This hot weather is just crazy! Hot, sunny, thunderstorms... And I spotted lilacs blooming already. The air is heavily scented, everything blooming yum xD

Today about one of my summer scents out there, fruity & exotic Kimora Lee Simmons Fabulosity! It is a very fruity, coconut-plum, honey-floral vine like scent that will please your senses in days you crave something wearable and not complex. It is quite of a celebrity scent, but adorable, price is fab & quality is still great in my opinion, at least it doesn't copy any existing scents.

The bottle on ads looks just irresistible,I confess, I mainly got it because of that.  In person it doesn't look that luxurious, bottle shape is like of those fake huge diamond decors. It comes in a purple box -  50 and 100 ml sizes.

Notes feature plum, neroli, tiger lily, 'mysterious forbidden fruits' (??), heart of Chinese osmanthus, coconut milk, violet; base - honey, vanilla absolute, patchouli and amber.

The scent is very intense, thick, I'd describe it more of honey dipped lilies with juiciest plum on top, perfume is very sweet, but still somehow not too sweet, sometimes it sits like a cheaper perfume, but there still is something that I like in it. The honey sometimes acts nasty in general as a note, slides down to animalistic uncomfortable note, but not in this perfume, this honey behaves well with no surprises.

And I still reach for it time to time. All in all if seen for cheap and you like exotic scents, this might be one to consider as it's quite an original composition, easy to wear exotic scent. Ahh, back to work soon, cheers...

Rouge Bunny Rouge Bronzing Glow Liquid in As if it were summer still…

Whoa. A bronzing glow! Some totally new type of product to me... I consider myself pretty pale, without orange undertone, so in my opinion bronzer is not required for my skin & I'm often afraid to use such product. However, not this time. This product is very pleasant and I want to slather it all over my face.

Here's why.

First of all, the scent factor, lightly floral, dandelion like gentle scent greets you and then fades away leaving summery mood awake. Very natural, totally different from everything else and not overpowering.

The second is multitasking. This can be used in a huge variety of ways. My favorite is to use it as a blush. It blends nicely, doesn't leave glittery/shimmery mess. Dries in 5 minutes and then wears perfectly. No smudge or staining boyfriends face, it doesn't transfer. That's why it also can be used on body as well. I once even tried on my eyelids. Started to crease only after like 6 hours. Also it is possible to mix it with cream and use all over face.

Scent: Light dandelion floral, fades after applied.
Shade: Latte shade with golden shimmer
Texture: Thick cream, non runny even if pot turned upside down.
Usage: On face, body, contouring, all over.
Blendability: Blends really well then dries and becomes non transferable.
Price: 59 euro for 50 ml at Rouge Bunny Rouge

 Blended.

Also little goes a long way with this. All in all, this product deserves to be invested in as its quality is amazing, I would totally recommend it.

Essence Silky Touch Blush 010 Adorable review + blush brush

If I'm on the fence about something I might not need I usually choose a budget version, hence I picked up this blush and a blush brush to accompany it.

Eek, note the parabens in the end.

Adorable is soft, moderately pigmented baby pink shade. It is pretty much on a warm tone side and is easy to build up, blend with a soft brush.

Above pictures with flash

Its finish from pan appears to be perfectly matte, but to my delight, it actually isn't! In sunlight you already can see the gold microshimmer in it. As you blend it on your cheeks the finish is pretty much satin. Despite all I read in other blogs claiming its matte, well, mine definitely isn't.

Sunlight

Overall, I'm very pleased with this blusher, this type of product was never a must have for me, but I find myself to reach for it everyday recently. Silky Touch blushes are fun to discover and play with due to their good quality.

Swatch applied with fingers to show color, it blends well.

Color: Warm, light pink.
Finish: Silky/golden microshimmer.
Lasting: around 5 or more hours depending if you touch your face during day.
Scent: Distinct powdery/ lemon-sour  scent, detectable only from the pan.
Wt. 5gr.
Price: 2 LVL

Essence Blush brush review.

I've read about this brush in several blogs, where, despite being so budget & cheap barbie hair looking, this brush made it to the favorites leaving behind more expensive ones. Observe.

Fun coloured and well put together, it is sooooo [!!!] soft and bendy. I was worried that it'd be all deformed in packaging, but worry not, it's actually flat on sides. Good to work with for soft powder blushes. Of all 3 brushes from Essence that I have, this is a favorite.

Loving Flankers - Lolita Lempicka Amarena Whim

Okay, it is so weird to review a flanker that has been a limited edition, but it is just so special and I have some really awkward  olfactive experience with it.

So when you are asked - what are some really mistical, dark fragrances that comes to your mind? Uhm, my answer would be - the untamed belle from Serge Lutens, a dangerous path to hell from L'Artisan? And of course the very captivating vessel of poison by Lolita Lempicka and it smells heavenly...

Meet Amarena Whim!

Pic is promo picture of LL I believe

Notes featured are almond, cherry and musk (you can tell the notes apart without even knowing it. From my vision there is also vanilla in there) and the composition was dedicated to lovers. Well, hear my story.

A dark park with old, almost in ruins, building - the crypt. As you step in the performance begins and you are delighted with sensation of something gourmand and almond-like. Then you see a small apple shaped bottle with poison leaking out and polluting the air with deadly deliciousness.

Silence, creepiness, after hours of sitting in and thinking, you decided to head out into that dark park with lively green cypresses and look around. There are mossy monuments or headstones, you can't really tell. Fruity, sour voice is calling out and you see a cherry tree. Under that cherry tree there are cherries everywhere lying on a thick, buttery soil emitting the sweetest scent of incredibly buttery vanilla...

The bottle is beyond cute, it comes in 30 ml and was limited edition years ago. I believe you can still find it in online stores, but I also would encourage you to try the original LL or its flankers which also come in Noir editions.

What I love the most about fragrances, that they can really play interesting tricks with your mind, I love a good olfactive experience.

Have you ever encountered such fragrance? Or you mostly just use them as finishing accord to polish the look?

Beauty Formulas Deep Cleansing Nose Pore Strips - charcoal review

So I finished a pack of these and here are my thoughts:

Problem - Pores on my nose get clogged and this problem won't disappear with use of scrubs & peelings. It looks not neat and makes me want to pick on my face. Yuk.

That's why I decided why not give a try to these strips. It's a fun part of being a blogger so there is urge not only to try new stuff and overanalyze it xD

I've also read & heard that some don't recommend using these as apparently you can get your capillary veins broken or something else scary happening and they will become visible (sorry for not researching this, but you can find out more on your own if this really interests you).

Usage. My experience.

So basically you get 5 individually wrapped packs with plastic strip and white, thin cotton band-aid like sticker with sticky formula to stick on your nose. It isn't sticky when dry but becomes so when moist.

I just applied them carefully on my moist just-after-shower face and waited til it dries for some 15 minutes or so. And then carefully pulled and removed it.

Of course it didn't remove even most of the stuff out of pores, it more like removed my dry skin cells off than dirt. However, after use I had some minor break outs near wings of my nose which may be caused by formula drawing stuff out. After using these my pores tightened and became less visible (not that I have huge craters, but difference was visible).

Thoughts. More or less I think these strips are good for keeping nose tidy on regular basis. Would I buy again? I might, but I wouldn't rush, because I had some break out reaction to this, however, it did make the pores smaller.
P.S. For easy charcoal excess remove I recommend using any face cream and then wipe it away.

Boring review isn't it? But oh well, learning how to crop pictures bleh... Uh by the way I might post some double language posts in Russian for certain products, because I think writing full English review on certain products are too snobby and full of shet out of me xD

Oh and by the way again, I think similar stuff anyone can make at home. Do you prefer to purchase products or make them yourself at home? Why?
My answer - as long as I can find the ingredients, they smell okay together and can be stored for a while, I can make it at home. But most of the time I am lazy and purchase stuff.
